Two-Color Quilt Exhibit

The Denton Quilt Guild is exhibiting two-color quilts made by it's members at the Center for the Visual Arts in Denton.

My quilt, "Attack of the Ragweed" is in the show.

Black Tangled Tennies


My son asked me to make a black version of the white Zentangled shoes I made last month. 



This time I used a silver sharpie. 
I had to draw bigger designs because the point is bigger.


I don't know how they will wear but I like the look.

The Next Chapter


This was my first pictorial quilt. I made it in 1999 from a photo of my son when he was three-years-old. He moved away to college last weekend. I'm still adjusting. He called me to help with a problem two days ago and I haven't heard from him since. He's either lost his phone or he's ignoring me. A friend advised that "no news is good news." I'm trying to accept that advice and be patient.
