I'm thrilled to hear my "Omelet Sisters" quilt has been juried into A World of Beauty at the Houston International Quilt Festival this Fall!
We had four urban chickens in our backyard for a while. They were such fun to watch.
They were quite young when they arrived from my friend Vicki's farm in Terrell.

I made this quilt using images of our chickens.
The Omelet Sisters - 36 x 21”
The background is hand-dyed sateen and the leaves are
stenciled with fabric paint using a freezer paper stencil.
The chickens are thread painted on an inkjet print on fabric.
