This was my first pictorial quilt. I made it in 1999 from a photo of my son when he was three-years-old. He moved away to college last weekend. I'm still adjusting. He called me to help with a problem two days ago and I haven't heard from him since. He's either lost his phone or he's ignoring me. A friend advised that "no news is good news." I'm trying to accept that advice and be patient.

Wow!!! Hard to believe that little squirmy baby is going away to college!!! My niece, Shauna, is, too. Janet is also having the adjustment to make, although she still has a 14 year old at home. Hang in there! I hear it gets easier.
Celebration for Laura's 50th was great. She was totally delighted, but even after all these years it is still hard to see her go back to her home in Austin.
